OVERVIEW
HOW WE WORK IT
Our vineyard in Ban Sahakorn 1 grows Shiraz and Chenin Blanc on trellised vines, planted in 2023. We prune twice a year to steer the vines through a hot, wet climate, and keep a vine-by-vine register of their health.

IN THE FIELD
THE CHALLENGE
WHAT YOU CAN LEARN
- Variety and rootstock choice for the tropics
- Double pruning
- Spray timing in the rainy season
- Drip irrigation
- Soil testing and record keeping
With no winter, vines don't rest, and the rains bring downy mildew. We use two pruning cycles each year (April and October), protect the vines before infection rather than after, and manage drainage on heavy clay.
THE VALUE LADDER
Our estate wine is still in development. The ladder runs from vine cutting, to grapes, to wine, and each step needs its own skills and licences. We will publish our own figures once we have harvest data.
