Skugga Villas and Suites
Skugga Estate sits in the lush highlands of northern Thailand, just 30 minutes from the centre of Chiang Mai. The estate unfolds across two complementary settings the Skugga Vineyard and the Skugga Farm — operated together as a single retreat.
The vineyard is home to a boutique wine-tasting bar and fine-bistro restaurant: Our dedicated event space for weddings and meetings offers full catering facilities, changing and prep rooms, and accommodates up to 150 seated guests, 200 for a full reception, or 400 for cocktail and standing events. Guests can stay across both settings. At the vineyard, four four-bedroom villas — Merlot, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Prosecco — sit alongside the three-bedroom Vineyard Lodge.
At the Skugga Farm where we have a BBQ restaurant, café, chocolate making facilities, gifts shops, workshop rooms, pool, pickle ball and playgrounds, we offer eleven suites in king and twin configurations and a two-bedroom cabin, making the estate well suited to couples, families and larger groups alike.

THE VINEYARD LODGE - 1 Unit
The Vineyard Lodge is a genuine highland home set among the vines. The Lodge offers three bedrooms, a large lounge, dining room, and three bathrooms — spacious, comfortable, and full of character. Perfect for a family or small group who want to feel truly at home. Available as a whole three-bedroom house or configured as a two-bedroom plus a private downstairs one-bedroom suite for added flexibility.​​​​

THE VINEYARD VILLAS - 4 Units
Four generous bedrooms with sweeping vineyard views, designed to bring a group together while giving everyone their own space. Each villa has large lounge and dining areas, with a fully equipped kitchen, balcony areas and easy access to the vineyard and restaurant. The Vineyard Villas can be taken as a single four-bedroom villa for larger groups, or as a two bedroom villa with lounging area plus two separate suites. This configuration utilises a single shared bathroom.
THE FARM SUITES - 10 units
Set within Skugga's cacao farm, just 2 kilometres from the vineyard, the Farm Suites are ideal for a couple or small family getaway. Wake up surrounded by coffee and cacao — a quieter (at night) and more secluded setting for those who want to feel deep in the estate. The farm has a bakery, BBQ restaurant, swimming pool, pickle ball, children's playground, handcraft chocolate lab, classic car garage and cafe. Located directly opposite the famous "Crazy Horse Buttress" climbing mountain, the sites are ideal for climbing enthusists.

THE FARM CABIN - 1 unit
A intimate two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat tucked into the farm. The Cabin is ideal for a couple, small family, or a pair of friends who want something a little more private and cosy. Simple, well-appointed, and quietly beautiful. Accessed via the Skugga farm, just 2 kilometres from the vineyard. Like our suites, the cabin is located directly opposite Crazy Horse Climbing Buttress.
