Skugga ESTATE VINEYARD
A kilometre and a half up the valley, the vineyard is the quieter, later half of the estate. The main building holds two restaurants, Upstairs at The Vineyard on the glazed upper floor and Downstairs at The Vineyard, a more casual room below it. The Festival Hall sits behind, seating 150 and taking up to 400 standing, with wedding dates now held through 2029. Vines went in during 2025 and the wine programme is still developing.
WINE, FOOD AND CELEBRATION
The vineyard is one half of Skugga Estate, set among rows of vines in the Mae On valley, thirty minutes from Chiang Mai. It carries the boutique wine-tasting bar, the fine-bistro restaurant, and the Festival Hall, Skugga's dedicated event and wedding space. The Vineyard Lodge and four Vineyard Villas sit directly among the vines, 1.5 kilometres from the Skugga Farm, where guests can also stay.

A boutique wine-tasting bar pours estate wines beside the vines, with flights and by-the-glass pours for walk-ins and guests. It's also the starting point for the estate's tasting experiences with wine tastings, wine-and-chocolate pairings, and gin-and-spirits pairings.

Event Spaces for memorable experiences
The Festival Hall is designed to accommodate weddings, workshops, seminars, corporate events, and parties. It seats up to 150 guests for a seated dinner, 200 for a full reception, and 400 for cocktail and standing events.
Outdoor Wedding Courtyards Spaces
Next to the main event hall is our private courtyard space. This outdoor space is ideally for outdoor parties, micro wedding ceremonies and functions. It has its own small bar, kitchen and toilets.

STAY ON THE VINEYARD
Rooms sit across both sites, so an evening at the vineyard does not have to end with the drive back to town. Four four-bedroom villas and a three-bedroom lodge stand among the vines, each with a kitchen, lounge and balcony. At the farm, ten suites and a two-bedroom cabin sit beside the roastery, with a pool, a pickle ball court and a playground on site.

What are Skugga Estate Vineyard's opening hours?
Skugga Estate Vineyard is open Tuesday through Sunday and closed on Mondays. Tuesday to Thursday hours are 10:00 to 20:00. Friday to Sunday hours are 10:00 to 22:00. Reservations are recommended for fine dining and group bookings.
How many guests can Skugga Estate host for a wedding?
