The Vineyard Setting for Your Wedding
THE SETTING
Say your vows beside vines planted in 2025, with the hills of the Mae On valley behind you. The wine programme is still developing, so the draw is the setting itself: planted rows, gardens, open sky and late valley light. Our vineyard wedding venue page covers the spaces and photography in detail.
Ceremony and reception spaces
Ceremonies take place among the vines and in the gardens. Receptions move to the covered Festival Hall, with full sound and lighting, or out to long tables on a dry evening. Every plan includes a wet-weather option.

The Vineyard runs Upstairs at The Vineyard for fine dining and Downstairs at The Vineyard for relaxed meals. The Farm roasts coffee, makes chocolate bean-to-bar and bakes at The Roll Bar. Your wedding menu comes from those kitchens, not an outside caterer.

Do you offer full wedding planning, or are you only a venue?
Skugga Estate is a full-service wedding planner as well as a venue. Our planners manage every part of your wedding, and our in-house chefs, mixologists, decorators and production crew deliver it, all on our own grounds.
Where is Skugga Estate and how far is it from Chiang Mai?
Skugga Estate is in the Mae On valley, 30 minutes from Chiang Mai city centre. Weddings take place at Skugga Estate Vineyard. Skugga Estate Farm, a separate site, is about 1.5 km away.
